DIY Compliance Management thru QIS

Do-It-Yourself Compliance Tracking
QIS knows that not all Brokers, Shippers, or 3PLs need to incorporate a complete Compliance Management service into their daily business activities. Therefore, QIS provides a Do-It-Yourself Compliance Tracking option. This option allows clients to augment the data they already collect, thereby fulfilling their Due Diligence requirements. This service, like others in it's class, is tailored to the client's needs and designed to fill in any gaps left by the client's current data collection system.

To ensure that the data derived from this option is provided in a seamless manner, QIS works directly with the client's I.T. department or service. Once up and running, this single-point of access provides the client with an increased ability to assess their risks and highly improve their ability to show they were not negligent in hiring/using a specific motor carrier.

DIY clients track the following Motor Carrier data:

- Status of Interstate Authorities (Common, Contact, Broker)
- Onfile Insurance Status and Limits¹ (BIPD, Cargo, Broker Surety Bond)
- Blanket Company
- Company Location and Contact information²
FMCSA
- Safety Rating
- Carrier Operations Classifications
- Shipper Classifications
- HazMat Classifications - due to security issues, available to contracted clients only.
Safety Statistics
- Driver SEAs
- Vehicle SEAs
- Safety Management SEAs

Not included with this service are the following items:

Certificate of Liability Insurance status and limits³
Customs Clearances
- USA: C-TPAT, FAST, ACE, PAPS
- Canada: PIP, CSA, PARS

The cost of the DIY service is effected by the optional items you may choose to include. As well, an extremely large carrier base can effect the total cost of this service. As with all other QIS' services, DIY Compliance Tracking is tailored to meet your needs at no additional cost.

USDOT Insurance data only shows if the carrier has coverage and that it meets minimum requirements.
USDOT location and contact data may contain errors as it is based on the carriers MCS-150.
This service does not incorporate the use of Certificates of Liability Insurance. Therefore it is impossible to know the actual expiration date or limits associated with these policies.
This service can be added as an option, reports issued Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
